The PreDx™ Diabetes Risk Test is a quantitative diagnostic test that employs a complex algorithm to analyze a defined set of multiple protein and other blood borne biomarkers implicated in the development of diabetes. The test is performed on a fasting blood sample and is simple to interpret — providing a single score that summarizes a patient's personalized risk for developing Type 2 diabetes within 5 years.
This easy to interpret, accurate and reliable blood test provides you and your patient with a PreDx™ Diabetes Risk Score — a personalized diabetes prediction score with a number between 1 (least risk) and 10 (highest risk). The information provided by the PreDx Diabetes Risk test may be used by the physician in conjunction with other clinical indicators to develop an effective diabetes prevention program.
